The Alumni Arena at UB was constructed in 1982. The statistics are as follows: 3,036 sheets of plywood laid in two layers (weighing 80 tons), 97,000 cushioning pads, 75 miles of 1-1/2” face-width inch-thick Northern Hard Maple flooring weighing 92 tons, 215 gallons of floor sealer, 170 gallons of floor finish, and 5.31 miles of gamelines.
