The 7,000 square foot maple gym floor at Heuvelton High School was installed in 1999. The original gymnasium was actually composed of 2 additions to the building, and the concrete slab under the existing flooring was extremely uneven. The accepted solution was to install a Robbins Bio-Channel floor over the existing slab, and to shim and level the floor. This option was the best one for the school, because they obtained a state of the art floor system and solved the leveling problem at the same time, for less money.
