Emma
Willard
School
Troy, New York
Emma
Willard
is
a
prestigeous
private
boarding
school
for
girls.
The
ivy
covered
halls
of
their
campus
would
be
the
envy
of
many
small
colleges.
Their
athletic
center
is
state
of
the
art,
and
they
wanted
a
floor
to
match.
The
existing
gymnasium
floor
at
the
Emmal
Willard
School
was
a
poured-in-place
urethane.
It
lacked
the
resilience
and
performance
characteristics
that
they
desired,
and
after
looking
at
a
number
of
synthetics,
they
chose
Robbins
Pulastic
2000
with
a
7mm
mat
and
2mm
of
urethane
resin.
The
existing
urethane
had
to
be
prepared
and
patched,
and
we
installed
the
Pulastic
system
directly
over
the
surface.
The
installation
took
approximately
3
weeks,
and
was
completed
in
July
2005.
