Geneva College is located northwest of Pittsburgh in the town of Beaver Falls.  This installation is special to the Western New York Floor Company because Geneva College was host to the first college basketball game in 1892.

The existing 30 year old floor was a direct bond maple floor laid over cork in asphalt mastic, that had been buckling seasonally and had many dead spots.  Removal began in March, 2003.

The new floor system chosen by Geneva College is a Robbins Air-Channel Star maple floor system.  The floor is composed of 11,300 square feet of Continuous Strip XL maple flooring over plywood, with Air-Channel sleepers and Robbins 7/16" EPDM rubber Bio-pads.  The sleepers are anchored with Robbins Posi-Anchor drive pins.  Air-Channel Star meets all the international DIN Standards in 18032 Part II.

The new floor was completed in April, 2003.
